Wife, mother, daughter, sister, husband, father, son or brother? Are you an employee or an employer? Are you an athlete or an academic or a business person or a tradesman? Those roles teach us how to behave, and what to expect in life. Roles are defining. When the Apostle Paul introduced himself to the church at Rome (a place he had not yet visited), he carefully selected the roles by which he would be known. And he thoughtfully identified roles those Roman believers were called to play. In this morning’s message, we’ll learn some roles our Heavenly Father has called us to fill.
