Romans 6:1-14
From the series: The Romans Road
Overview
Power over sin. That sounds good, but not realistic. Last time I checked I was fighting for my spiritual life when it comes to sin. This section of Romans is one of the most important for understanding my New Life in Christ, and how that new life brings me power over sin.

Overview
Adam and Jesus Christ. Those are not two people we usually think about together. But, the Apostle Paul compares and contrasts these two as heads of two streams of humanity that lead to two very different destinies. All of us are by nature children of Adam. But, only those who trust Christ and his finished work on the cross can claim to be children of God as well.

Faith, Grace, Peace, Joy. These words are often used, but seldom fully understood. The vast riches that God provides for believers are brought out and put on display in this familiar passage. Whatever the circumstances in which we find ourselves this new year, God provides Grace, Peace and Joy for us.

Overview
Abraham is one of history's great men. He is the foundation of both Christian and Jewish Faith. His life serves as a wonderful example of God's work by faith in the lives of believers. God calls men and women to himself. He redeems. And he always does that by grace through faith. Abraham learned this, and so will we.
