Dear Church Family, Leading Crossroads is one of my highest privileges. Pastor is a precious title to bear, and I am acutely aware of the need to stay fresh in my walk with the Lord, relationship with my family and preaching of God’s Word to you. This requires occasional time away for renewal and sharpening. I will be gone for August. Some of that time is simply vacation with my family, but much of it is time for personal rest and re-fueling for me as your pastor.

The next year is a time of great opportunity for our church and I want to be at my best as we head into this fall. Pastor Grant will handle day-to-day ministry. We have a capable staff I trust, godly elders I love, and faithful deacons who shoulder many ministry responsibilities. I encourage you to take some time away to enjoy your family as your schedule allows. However, when you’re here; be all here. I will be doubly blessed when at the end of August I hear that attendance was strong, attitudes were positive, visitors were welcomed, and offerings were generous. On Sunday, September 5, I will report to you what God has taught me on this break. I look forward to hearing what God taught you as well. Below is the schedule for August. You will be well fed.

Be blessed, Pastor Scott
